Blogmas #14&15 - extortionate stuff.

another day, another door to open..

Day 14 of the calendar saw the arrival of something particularly useful for the season of the smokey eye - a good old fashioned eyeliner. The one in question was from a brand called Green People. Green People is a brand I'd never heard of before, but a quick look at their website informed me that they specialise in all sorts of natural, organic products.

Green People Eyeliner.

The eyeliner is in the shade 'City Grey' a deep, smokey hue that's a nice alternative to the harshness of black. It has the most gorgeous creamy consistency - no dragging on the eye area. Result.

It's also great that it's free from parabens, alcohol, and sulphates - all things that it's generally best to avoid if you can. I'm looking forward to blending this out with a fluffy brush to create a relaxed, trouble free smokey eye at some point over Christmas. Sometimes eye shadow is too much effort.

Behind day 15 lay a dinky glass vial with pipette, that initially appeared to be very nondescript and unassuming. Then I googled it, and got the shock of my life.

BioEffect EGF Serum. In the cutest packaging ever.

The product itself was a sample for Bioeffect's EGF Serum which retails at £125 for 15ml. Ouch. However, after reading some reviews it seems relatively fair to say that it's supposed to be something of a wonder product. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on the way you look at it), I'm not really it's target market, given that it's main goal is anti-aging. Something to bear in mind for the future though. Plus, I'm sure my Grandmother would appreciate me giving her this to try. Well, she'd better...
